El Colegio San José despide a su LI promoción de alumnos
El Colegio San José ha despedido en un solemne acto académico a su LI Promoción de alumnos de 2º de Bachillerato y VIII Promoción del Programa del Diploma del Bachillerato Internacional. El acto tuvo lugar en la tarde del viernes 22 de mayo en el Salón de Actos del Colegio en Estepona.
A la lectura de la memoria de la promoción realizada por varios alumnos, con un relato lleno de entrañables y divertidos recuerdos, siguió la intervención del Jefe del Departamento de Lengua Extranjera y tutor de 2º de Bachillerato, D. Alberto Sánchez Morilla.
El profesor Dr. Don Javier M. Valle, profesor titular de Política Educativa de la Unión Europea en la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid pronunció la conferencia bajo el título “Profesores Robots, ¿Por Qué No?”.
Tras la imposición de la insignia del Colegio, Dña. María Francisca Álvarez Núñez, Directora Académica, clausuró el acto con unas palabras a las que siguió el canto del himno universitario “Gaudeamus Igitur” por el Coro del Colegio.
CLASIFICACIÓN PARA LA FASE INTERNACIONAL DEL MODELO DE PARLAMENTO EUROPEO
Tras superar con éxito las fases escolar, autonómica y nacional, Rubén, alumno de 1º de Bachillerato del Colegio San José, ha sido seleccionado para participar en la fase internacional del Modelo del Parlamento Europeo, que se celebrará en Estonia durante el próximo mes de octubre.
Este logro supone un reconocimiento a su brillante capacidad de oratoria, a su espíritu crítico y a su firme compromiso con los valores democráticos y europeos.
El esfuerzo constante y el alto nivel que caracterizan a los alumnos del Colegio San José y a este programa educativo, en el que participan cada curso, demuestran que la excelencia académica y los valores humanos pueden abrir las puertas de los escenarios internacionales más prestigiosos.
Colegio San José bids farewell to 51st class of students
In a formal academic event, Colegio San José bid farewell to its 51st Class of 2nd year Baccalaureate students and 8th class from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. The event took place on the evening of Friday 22 May in the School’s Assembly Hall in Estepona.
The reading of the class’s report produced by several students, with an account backed with endearing and fun memories, was followed by the speech by the Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and tutor of 2nd year Baccalaureate students, Mr Alberto Sánchez Morilla.
Professor Dr. Don Javier M. Valle, tenured professor in the Educational Policy of the European Union at the Autonomous University of Madrid gave a talk entitled “Robot teachers. Why not?”.
After the awarding of the School badge, Ms María Francisca Álvarez Núñez, Academic Director, ended the event with a few words which was followed by the School Choir singing the university hymn “Gaudeamus Igitur”.
Qualification for international phase of model european parliament
After successfully overcoming the school, regional, and national phases, Rubén, a 1st year Baccalaureate student at Colegio San José was selected to take part in the international stage of the Model European Parliament, which will take place in Estonia during October.
This achievement is a recognition of his brilliant oratorical skill, his critical spirit, and his firm commitment to democratic and European values.
The constant effort and high level that characterise the students of Colegio San José and this educational program, which they take part in each year, show that academic excellence and human values can open up the doors of the most prestigious international stages.
